Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Pulse is operated by an Australian sole trader (GST-registered). These Terms govern your use of the Pulse subscription-analytics service, including the dashboard, API, and SDKs (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. The Service

Pulse helps app developers understand subscription revenue and churn. It ingests billing webhook events from providers you connect (such as Apple App Store Server Notifications and Stripe webhooks) and product telemetry events sent by the Pulse SDKs, and presents this data as metrics, dashboards, and alerts. Pulse is analytics-only: it never initiates, modifies, or processes a purchase on your behalf.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service to store data you do not have the right to share with us; attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or tenant isolation; reverse engineer or resell the Service without our written consent; or use the Service in a way that violates applicable law.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Pulse is billed at flat monthly tiers — there is no revenue share or usage-based surcharge. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. GST applies to customers billed in Australia, in accordance with Australian tax law. You can cancel at any time; cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period.

Your price is locked for the life of your subscription. If we raise prices later, you keep the price you signed up at, for as long as you stay subscribed.

5. Your data

You own the data you send to Pulse. You can export it at any time via the dashboard or the read API, and you can request deletion of your account and its data. See our Privacy Policy for details on what we collect and how long we retain it.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Pulse computes metrics from data supplied by third-party billing providers and your own instrumentation; we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that upstream data.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law, with notice where practicable.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict-of- law principles.
